Irene is an architectural and interior designer and educator who graduated with honors from Rafael Urdaneta University and is a certified member of the School of Engineers of Zulia. Her early career in Venezuela focused on high-end residential and hospitality projects, such as the Kristoff Hotel, where she specialized in luxury European brands.

In 2011, Irene relocated to Toronto, earning a Project Management certificate from Ryerson University in 2013. This academic foundation was immediately applied through her role as a Project Coordinator at Mondconsult and later as a key designer at Design Agency, where she became known for her masterful 3D modeling and photorealistic rendering skills.

During her tenure at Design Agency and Mondconsult, Irene spearheaded interior design and coordination for hospitality, commercial, and residential projects (low and high-rise). Her expertise spanned from conceptual master planning and cost analysis to the production of technical construction documents and photorealistic renderings. She managed the full project lifecycle, including trade selection, budget oversight, and regulatory approvals, ensuring seamless execution through direct site supervision and client consultation.

Since 2016, Irene has operated as the Founder and Principal Designer of Sire Design, a studio providing comprehensive solutions for residential and commercial projects—ranging from custom millwork to photorealistic renderings. Parallel to her practice, she has served as a Professor and Program Coordinator in the Interior Design Program at the School of Architectural Studies at George Brown Polytechnic since 2018. In this capacity, she bridges the gap between software proficiency and real-world application, teaching CAD and BIM to the next generation of architectural and interior design professionals.

In 2023, the obtained a dual Master's Degree in Global BIM Management, from a partnership between the University of Barcelona and Zigurat Institute of Technology.
